Damning with Faint Praise

From the anonymous prosecutor blogging at Life at the Harris County Criminal Justice Center: "The defense bar of Harris County does an equally good job. They defend their clients rights, and I've never seen a defense attorney who believed in his client's innocence give up without a fight."

Well alrighty then!

You have got to be kidding me. She blows one kiss your way and you're ready to call it a day? You are way too easy.

You call that a kiss?

Most of my readers are sharp enough to see the unintentional slam in AHCL's statement. I didn't think I needed to point it out.

Is this another example of the HCDAO's inability to get its stuff in one sock?

How's that faint praise? I thought it was full praise. It was meant for the entire defense bar, too. Not just Mark, although he does look awfully sexy with that intense look he has on his blog picture.

God, I apparently really suck at blogging.

I was trying to say that the Harris County Defense Bar fights hard for their clients and will fight to the end for what is best for their clients.

Geez, if I knew I was going to have to be apologizing this much, I'd have just gotten married . . .

I think the point is that a defense lawyer who only really fights when he or she "believes" in the client's "innocence" is not much of a defense lawyer.

Yeah yeah, I know. I have foot in mouth disease. My heart is in the right place, but my mind disengages from my fingers while typing.

I was trying to say that Harris County Criminal Lawyers are the best in the nation.

Now, I've probably riled up a bunch of New York lawyers.
